Blue Mountain Christian puts 27 Toppers on NAIA spring scholar-athlete list

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the 2026 NAIA Scholar-Athletes for spring sports on Wednesday, and Blue Mountain Christian University had 27 Toppers named to the list.

The NAIA releases the scholar-athlete roster each semester to recognize student-athletes who excel in both the classroom and competition. The spring list highlights athletes from baseball, softball, golf, lacrosse, track and field, tennis, flag football, beach volleyball and men’s volleyball.

Blue Mountain Christian University, which fields teams that compete in NAIA athletics, said the selections reflect its student-athletes’ academic achievement alongside athletic commitments. The honor is widely regarded across collegiate athletics as an indicator of a program’s emphasis on academic support and balance.

The NAIA scholar-athlete designation can bolster recruiting and institutional reputation by underscoring academic standards among competitors. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
