Two Hurt in Shooting on North Gloster Street in Tupelo

Tupelo police are investigating a shooting that injured two adults early Saturday morning on North Gloster Street.

Officers responded to a report of gunfire at about 4:11 a.m. in the 500 block of North Park Street. They found two victims with multiple gunshot wounds and provided medical aid until fire and emergency medical services arrived.

The victims said they were traveling north on North Gloster Street when a maroon sedan pulled alongside their vehicle near the 400 block and opened fire. Both were taken by ambulance to North Mississippi Medical Center in serious condition.

Investigators recovered shell casings in the area and secured the vehicle involved. The case remains active, and no further details are available.
