State inmate dies after being found unresponsive at George County facility
A state inmate died Sunday morning after being found unresponsive at the George County Regional Correctional Facility, the George County Sheriff’s Office said.
The inmate was identified as 69-year-old Robert O. Pugh. Correctional facility staff reported Pugh was found unresponsive at approximately 7:55 a.m., and life-saving measures began in less than one minute, the sheriff’s office said.
