Office highlights Financial and Compliance Division summer interns

The office said in a Facebook post it is highlighting its Financial and Compliance Division summer interns, noting the students worked closely with senior auditors and assisted with preparing audit reports that support the office’s mission.

The post listed the interns, pictured from left to right, as Vincent Vavra, Landon Saffle, Alice Drinkard, Tierra Lonie, Brianna Brown, Anna Hill, Reece Hindt and Evan Watson.

The announcement said the interns participated in a variety of audit-related activities designed to strengthen their professional experience. Those activities included work with senior staff and supporting the preparation of audit documentation and reports.

Financial and compliance divisions typically conduct audits, ensure adherence to laws and regulations and help safeguard public or organizational resources. Internship programs give students hands-on training, expose them to professional standards and can serve as pipelines to careers in accounting, auditing and compliance.

The office thanked the interns for their hard work and dedication this summer. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
