Members of the Mississippi Highway Patrol earned multiple top finishes at LawFit 2026, the Mississippi Department of Public Safety said in a post on its official Facebook page.
Chelsey Giles won the 1.5-mile run with a time of 8:35 and placed second overall among female competitors, while Christian Coleman finished the 1.5-mile run in 12:10 and was fourth female overall, the post said. In individual events, Tommy Stinson finished third in the men’s bench press, Julian Wells fourth and Mike Brown fifth; Christian Coleman placed fourth in the women’s bench press.
The post also listed sit-up and pull-up results, with Julian Wells taking third in men’s sit-ups and Giles placing fifth among women. Coleman finished second in pull-ups, and pursuit-course finishes included Julian Wells second and Jason Wells fifth in the men’s division and Giles second in the women’s division.
Team results highlighted mixed and same-gender pairings and multi-person teams. Giles and Brown placed third in mixed pairs; Giles and Coleman were second in female pairs. Stinson and Julian Wells were second in the two-man team competition, with Brown and Bowie third. A four-man team of Stinson, Bowie, Brown and Julian Wells finished second. The department listed Giles as female overall second and Coleman as female overall fourth; Julian Wells was fourth male overall and Stinson fifth male overall.
