Former Tupelo City Councilman Fred Pitts visited police officers today, dropping off cigars to help celebrate the New Year, according to a social media post.
The department also thanked Tupelo Smokes Cigar Club and Spring Street Cigars for their support.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel.
