Waterfowl WMA draw applications open Oct. 1 in Mississippi

The application period for Mississippi Waterfowl WMA Draws will open Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2026, and continue through Oct. 15, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.

The department said the draw hunt application process has changed following the launch of its new license system earlier in the year. People who do not already have an account in the system are encouraged to create one before applying.
