Mississippi waterfowl summit brings conservation groups together
The Mississippi Waterfowl Conservation Summit brought together landowners, land managers, hunters, conservation professionals, researchers, agencies and conservation organizations to discuss the future of waterfowl and wetland conservation in Mississippi, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
The department said speakers, panelists, partners and attendees shared their perspectives during the summit. It said continued conversations and collaboration are important to strengthening waterfowl conservation across the state.
The department also thanked participants for their commitment to Mississippi’s waterfowl and wetlands.
