Tupelo preacher helps Lee County deputies cope with job-related trauma

Tupelo preacher Keith Cochran is working to help Lee County deputy sheriffs deal with trauma they encounter nearly every day on the job, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff Jim H. Johnson said the department is thankful for Cochran and the role he plays within the department. Johnson said Cochran provides support, guidance and compassion to deputies during difficult moments in the profession.

Johnson also credited Cochran with listening to, encouraging and praying for deputies while helping the department’s law enforcement family through the challenges of the job.
