MDWFP honors conservation officers and first responders on Patriot Day

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks honored conservation officers and first responders across the state on Patriot Day, recognizing their service and sacrifices while communities reflect on the Sept. 11 attacks.

The agency said its conservation officers and other first responders work across Mississippi, including in state parks and on waterways, to help keep communities safe. It also praised their devotion to duty and willingness to put others first, and thanked officers for their sacrifice and protection.
