Vicksburg police update juvenile death investigation
VICKSBURG, Miss. — The Vicksburg Police Department said Friday it is investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy found Thursday morning in the 400 block of Farmer Street.
Investigators recovered the firearm believed to have been used in the incident, the department said. Based on the evidence gathered thus far, the gunshot wound is believed to have been self-inflicted, and the investigation remains active.
