Vicksburg Police Department thanks job fair attendees, continues accepting applications
The Vicksburg Police Department thanked residents who attended a recent job fair and said it is still accepting application packets, the department said in a Facebook post.
The post said department staff enjoyed meeting individuals interested in law enforcement and serving the community. The department included the phrase, “Your career. Your community. Your opportunity to make a difference,” to underscore the message.
The Vicksburg Police Department is the municipal law enforcement agency that serves the city. Like many agencies, it uses job fairs and outreach events to recruit candidates and explain career and training opportunities to potential officers and support staff.
