Tupelo police seek suspect after business burglary
TUPELO, Mississippi — Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department are asking the public for help identifying a person wanted in connection with a commercial burglary at The Fox’s Den.
Police said officers responded about 3 a.m. March 22 to an alarm at The Fox’s Den, 1210 S. Gloster St. When officers arrived they found broken glass at the front entrance, and the business owner later told investigators about $4,000 worth of items were stolen, according to Crime Stoppers.
The owner provided police with video footage of the incident, Crime Stoppers said. Anyone with information is asked to submit tips through the P3 Tips app. Crime Stoppers said it may pay up to $2,000 for a tip that leads to an arrest and that its 800 number is temporarily out of service.
Crime Stoppers programs are community-based organizations that encourage anonymous tips and may offer rewards for information leading to arrests. Commercial burglaries can cause significant financial loss and disruption for small businesses and local employees.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
