Tornado warning for Greene County, Miss., expires

A Facebook post said a Tornado Warning for Greene County, Mississippi, that had been in effect until 11 a.m. CDT has expired.

Greene County is in southeastern Mississippi, a region that can experience severe thunderstorms and tornadoes particularly during the spring and fall. Local posts and alerts are commonly used to quickly inform residents of changing weather conditions.
