Tornado warning for Greene County, Mississippi expires

A Facebook post said a tornado warning for Greene County, Mississippi, expired at 11:45 p.m. CDT.

Tornado warnings are issued by the National Weather Service when a tornado is imminent or occurring and present a threat to life and property. When warnings are in effect, people are advised to seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and to avoid windows.
