The Southaven Police Department recognized Officer Lauren Perrigo as its 2025 Officer of the Year, the department said in a Facebook post. The department credited Perrigo with strong self-motivation, diligence and professionalism in her tours of duty.
According to the post, Officer Perrigo remains courteous when dealing with citizens, suspects and complainants and represents the agency in a positive manner. The department said her paperwork is accurate and thorough while remaining concise.
Although relatively new to law enforcement with two years of service, the department said Perrigo continually seeks opportunities for professional growth. Her work ethic, dedication and attention to detail have been instrumental in the overall mission of the Southaven Police Department.
