STARKVILLE, Mississippi — A roommate was taken into custody after a stabbing at an apartment complex early Tuesday, the Starkville Police Department said.
Police responded at 7:23 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, to an active disturbance at The Social Block, 110 Lincoln Green, where officers located both the victim and the suspect, who are roommates, the department said. During the incident, the victim was stabbed and the suspect was arrested at the scene.
The victim is being transported out of the area for further medical treatment, the department said. The incident remains under investigation.
