Ridgeland police seek man in residential burglary
RIDGELAND, Miss. — The Ridgeland Police Department is asking the public for help locating a man wanted in connection with a residential burglary, the department said. Police identified the suspect as Demetreious Chapman Jr.
Anyone with information that could help locate Chapman is asked to contact the Ridgeland Police Department at 601-856-2121, the department said. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS, through the P3 Tips app or through the organization’s website.
Residential burglary generally refers to unlawful entry into a dwelling with intent to commit theft or another felony, a crime that law enforcement officials say can have serious impacts on victims and neighborhood safety. The Ridgeland Police Department patrols a suburb of Jackson and investigates crimes that affect the local community.
