Oxford Police Department said in a Facebook post that Patrol Officer Eli Hiser is joining the department. The post welcomed Hiser to the team and said the department looks forward to the dedication and service he will provide to the community.

Patrol officers typically serve as first responders who handle emergency calls, conduct routine patrols and engage with residents to address local concerns.
