Oxford police assistant named Strive 4 Marketing First Responder of Month
Oxford Police Department in Mississippi named Assistant Victim Services Coordinator Christina Hervey the Strive 4 Marketing First Responder of the Month, the department said on its Facebook page.
The post said Hervey stepped in during a recent call when events were moving quickly and helped the dispatcher staff by using her training and experience to establish communication, calm the situation and help bring the call to a safe conclusion.
The department praised Hervey’s willingness to “jump in wherever she is needed,” saying it exemplifies the teamwork and compassion that the Oxford Police Department counts on in serving the community.
Strive 4 Marketing and Delta Dog sponsored the department’s luncheon for the recognition and the department said the sponsorship supports its law enforcement community. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
