Mississippi Department of Public Safety names July employees of month

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety named its employees of the month for July on its official Facebook page, recognizing four staff members for their dedication, professionalism and commitment to excellence.

The department said the honorees are Captain Demetrius Hawthorne of Troop C; Jeffery Myers of Asset Management; Toniann Rebick of the Forensics Lab; and Risa Turpin of Standards & Training. The post thanked the employees for their service.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety is the state agency responsible for public safety programs and services, including highway patrol, driver services and forensic support. Employee recognition programs are commonly used across government agencies to highlight individual contributions, boost morale and underscore the work that supports public safety operations.
