Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating Hallis Wayne Russ Jr., who is wanted for murder, the department said in a July 2 press release.
The release says Russ allegedly shot a 38-year-old man multiple times in the 18000 block of Allen Road. The victim was pronounced deceased, police said.
Authorities asked anyone with information to submit an anonymous tip to Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers by downloading the P3 Tips app or by calling TIPS. The release said tips must be submitted directly through Crime Stoppers to be eligible for a cash reward. Police said Russ should be considered armed and dangerous.
