Jackson Police Department released photographs Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, seeking the public’s help identifying individuals connected to an embezzlement investigation, the department said in a Facebook post.
The images were captured at approximately 6:50 p.m., and the post said the male subject wearing a black shirt has been identified as directly connected to the crime under investigation.
Investigators have used multiple methods, including facial recognition analysis, but all results have been inconclusive, the department said. Police asked members of the public to share the photographs to help generate leads that could identify additional individuals and advance the case.
Anyone with information about the identities of the people pictured or relevant details is encouraged to contact the Jackson Police Department, the post said. Embezzlement generally refers to the theft or misappropriation of funds by someone in a position of trust; public tips can play a key role in such investigations.
