Jackson police chief addresses Rotary Club on community partnerships

The Jackson Police Department said Chief RaShall Brackney spoke to the Rotary Club of North Jackson during its July 21, 2026, meeting to discuss building safer communities through strong partnerships.

The department said community involvement remains a vital component of crime prevention and crime reduction and described Brackney’s remarks as part of her effort to share a vision for addressing crime through a holistic, collaborative approach.

The Rotary Club of North Jackson is a local chapter of Rotary International, a global service organization that brings together business and community leaders to address local needs. Police chiefs and other civic leaders often meet with service clubs to explain public safety strategies and encourage community support and cooperation.

Officials said the engagement signals continuing community interest in public safety initiatives and in collaborative strategies that draw on residents, businesses and civic groups. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
