Intermittent road closures set for StarkVegas Juneteenth 5K
Organizers said intermittent road closures will affect streets along the route of the StarkVegas Juneteenth 5K run/walk on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
The temporary closures are expected to run from about 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., the organizers said in a Facebook post. The event will begin and end at McKee Park, 405 Lynn Lane. Officers will assist runners through intersections, and drivers should expect intermittent delays along the route.
The StarkVegas Juneteenth 5K is a community run/walk tied to Juneteenth observances, which commemorate the end of slavery in the United States and are marked by events nationwide. Races and walks during such observances often draw participants, volunteers and spectators, prompting short-term traffic adjustments to protect public safety.
