Gulfport Police recognize employees of month
The Gulfport Police Department on Facebook recognized seven employees as Employees of the Month, saying they demonstrated exceptional dedication, professionalism and commitment to serving the department and the community.
The honorees listed by the department are Detective Justin Clifton; Dispatch Supervisor Sarah Trevethan; Officers Jonathan Switzer and John Grossenbacher; Auto Mechanic Jacob Barnes; Detective David Doane; and Records Clerk Sarah Norton.
The department said the employees were chosen for their hard work, positive attitudes and willingness to go above and beyond. The post also extended appreciation to community partners Ryan Goldin, Florence Gardens and The Downtowner for their continued support of the police department and its efforts.
Employee recognition is a common practice in law enforcement agencies to highlight performance and boost morale among staff who provide public safety services.
