GMR provides air-evacuation training, donates medical bags to Troop M
Troop M in Brookhaven thanked Global Medical Response for providing medical air-evacuation training and for donating medical bags to Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers and CTED officers, according to a Facebook post.
Global Medical Response is a nationwide provider of air and ground medical transport and emergency services. Agencies such as GMR often partner with law enforcement and first responders to deliver specialized training and equipment that support patient care during critical incidents.
Officials and emergency-response experts say air-evacuation training helps improve coordination between ground units and air medical crews, which can reduce delays and enhance patient outcomes during time-sensitive emergencies. Donated medical bags can supply troopers and CTED officers with essential gear for stabilizing patients until transport arrives.
The Facebook post said the agency appreciates GMR’s commitment to supporting first responders across Mississippi. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
