Facebook page asks followers to wish Sheriff Jeremy ‘Bull’ McCoy happy birthday

A Facebook post said, “Facebook Facebook Facebook will you please help us wish our Sheriff Jeremy \”Bull\” McCoy a HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!” the post read, asking followers to send birthday wishes to the sheriff.

Sheriffs typically serve as the chief law enforcement officer of a county and are often elected by local voters. They commonly oversee patrol operations, detention facilities and court security, although the Facebook post did not identify McCoy’s jurisdiction or provide details about his duties.

The message highlights how social media is used by government offices, supporters and community members to mark personal milestones and engage the public. Posts like this can humanize public officials and encourage community interaction separate from official business.

The Facebook post did not include McCoy’s age, location or other specifics. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
