Driver Service Bureau closes North Mississippi locations Jan. 28 due to winter weather

All Driver Service Bureau locations in North Mississippi will remain closed Jan. 28 because of winter weather and hazardous conditions, the bureau said on its Facebook page.

The bureau, which provides driver licensing and vehicle registration services to residents, did not provide details about whether transactions scheduled for that date will be rescheduled automatically.

The closure may affect customers with appointments, road testing or vehicle transactions, and could delay routine matters such as license renewals or registrations. Residents who planned to visit a bureau office for time-sensitive business should check the bureau’s official channels for updates and guidance on rescheduling.

The bureau said the safety of employees and the public is its top priority and advised people to stay safe and warm. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
