Crime Stoppers, Tupelo police seek help identifying shoplifting suspects
Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department are asking the public to help identify one or more people involved in a shoplifting incident in Tupelo on April 28, 2026, the organizations said in a Facebook post. The post included photos of the suspects and asked anyone with information to come forward.
People with tips can call Crime Stoppers of NE MS at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or use the P3 Tip App to leave an anonymous report, the post said. Crime Stoppers said it will pay up to $2,000 cash for a tip that leads to an arrest and emphasized that “Crime Stoppers does not want your name just your information.”
Crime Stoppers programs partner with local law enforcement to collect anonymous leads and offer cash rewards when tips help solve crimes. Local chapters typically work with businesses and residents to recover stolen property and deter repeat offenses by connecting tips to police investigations.
Shoplifting investigations can affect local retailers and community safety by increasing costs for businesses and straining police resources. Authorities ask anyone who recognizes the people in the posted photos or who has other relevant information to contact Crime Stoppers or the Tupelo Police Department. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
