Crime Stoppers seeks help identifying suspects in Union County theft

Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Union County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help to identify two people they say stole a side-by-side from a residence in the Macedonia community.

The agencies said the burglary and grand larceny occurred Sunday, July 5, 2026, at about 3:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of County Road 26. Two subjects kicked in the door of a shop at the residence and stole a 2024 red Can Am Defender four-door side-by-side, officials said.

The suspects drove off in the vehicle and were last seen on County Road 19 heading toward County Road 18 in Union County, Crime Stoppers and the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-TIPS (8477) or submit an anonymous tip through the P3 Tip App, the group said. Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi is offering up to $2,000 cash for a tip that leads to an arrest and said it does not seek callers’ names, only information.

Crime Stoppers programs partner with law enforcement to collect anonymous tips and offer rewards in some cases. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
