Clarksdale Junior Auxiliary surprises deputies with cookies

Local deputies received a sweet delivery from community volunteers, a Facebook post said. Brooks Perry and Meredith Wilkinson of the Clarksdale Junior Auxiliary brought cookies to deputies and the post thanked them for their “delicious cookies and thoughtful support.”

Agencies often post acknowledgments on social media to recognize volunteers and encourage community engagement.

Details about the visit and the department that posted the message were limited. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
