Boardwalk Pipelines warns residents of flames during Johnson, Kline road work
Boardwalk Pipelines said in a post on its Facebook page that it will perform construction work in the area of Johnson Road and Kline Road and that residents may see flames reaching many feet vertically during the operation.
The company said the flames may be visible for approximately 8–15 hours and asked residents not to be alarmed, noting that the flames are a normal part of the construction process. The notice urged residents to share the information with neighbors who may be in the area.
Boardwalk Pipelines operates natural gas pipeline infrastructure. Construction and maintenance on pipeline systems can sometimes involve controlled flaring or burning to safely manage gas during work; such measures are intended to reduce risk while crews perform necessary operations.
The notice did not include additional operational details or a precise timetable for the activity. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
