Biloxi holds annual Community Festival Against Crime Sept. 12
Biloxi will hold its annual Community Festival Against Crime on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Point Cadet Plaza, 121 Cadet St., the City of Biloxi said in a Facebook post.
The event will offer live music, games and activities, displays and demonstrations, and free food, drinks and parking, the post said. Organizers invited families to attend and meet members of the Biloxi Police Department and Biloxi Fire Department.
City officials said the festival will highlight programs offered by the City of Biloxi and its public safety agencies that are designed to help make neighborhoods and the city safer. The post encouraged residents to learn safety tips and promoted the event slogan “How to Say NO to Crime!”
Biloxi is a coastal city on the Gulf of Mexico in Mississippi, and community events like this are a way for residents to connect with local first responders and learn about crime-prevention resources. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
