Bay St. Louis police locate stolen 2004 Nissan Sentra, seek suspect

Bay St. Louis police say a vehicle reported stolen last month has been located but investigators are asking the public to help identify who took it. Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers posted the update on Facebook and listed the case as No. 2026-01098.

Detectives said the car is a 2004 Nissan Sentra bearing Mississippi license plate 161KA. The vehicle was reported stolen from an address on Bookter Street during the early morning hours of July 14, 2026, the post said.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the theft or the person responsible to submit an anonymous tip to Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers. Tips can be sent through the P3 Tips app or by calling TIPS. The post said tips must be submitted directly through Crime Stoppers to be eligible for a cash reward.
