Woman arrested in Slidell on grand larceny warrant; extradition to Bay St. Louis planned

Bay St. Louis police asked the public on Nov. 19, 2025, to help identify a woman wanted in connection with a grand larceny that allegedly occurred Sept. 25, 2025, at an area casino, the department said.

The woman was identified as Rayann Kingsbury, and the Bay St. Louis Police Department subsequently issued a warrant for her arrest, the department said. Thanks to a tip to Crime Stoppers, Kingsbury was located in Slidell and arrested by the Slidell Police Department. She was taken into custody and will be extradited back to Bay St. Louis to face the charges, the department said.

The Bay St. Louis Police Department thanked members of the public and Crime Stoppers for their assistance in the investigation, the department said. The department noted that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Bay St. Louis is on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Slidell is across the state line in southeastern Louisiana. Crime Stoppers is a community program that accepts anonymous tips to aid law enforcement. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
