The Southaven Police Department said in a Facebook post that 14-year-old Laniyah Redmond was safely located as of 10:00 p.m. June 17, 2026.
Police originally reported Redmond missing after she was last seen at about 5:30 p.m. in the area of Rasco and Cedarbrook. The department described her as a black female, 5-foot-11 and 230 pounds, with light red hair streaked with yellow. She was reported last seen wearing a teal green tank top with a gold buckle on the strap, black spandex shorts and no shoes.
The Southaven Police Department, the city police agency for Southaven, Mississippi, had asked anyone with information to call 662-393-8652 or email tips@southaven.org. Those contact details were included in the departments original social media post.
