Authorities search for vehicle stolen from Nivens Road

YAZOO COUNTY, Miss. — Authorities are asking the public for help locating a vehicle reported stolen from Nivens Road after it was taken sometime overnight, officials said.

The vehicle was described as bearing a Delta State University sticker on the rear and registered with tag number 18DS7, authorities said. At this time, officials do not know the vehicle’s direction of travel.

Law enforcement provided a contact number for anyone with information: 662-746-0014. Officials did not provide additional details about the make, model or color of the vehicle, or whether any suspects have been identified.

Delta State University is a public university based in Cleveland, Mississippi. A university sticker does not necessarily indicate the owner’s current affiliation, but such identifiers can assist investigators and members of the public in recognizing a stolen vehicle.

Vehicle thefts and related crimes can pose safety concerns and often rely on tips from the community to resolve. Anyone who sees the vehicle or has information is asked to call the number provided. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
