Animal rescue at 395 W. Mayes Street reports three burglaries

The Animal Rescue located at 395 W. Mayes Street reported three burglaries that occurred on May 13, May 19 and May 20, 2026, the organization said in a Facebook Reel.

The post said the incidents occurred after 11 p.m. on the listed dates. The suspect is described as a slender black male with a medium complexion and unknown hair. The suspect is believed to live in the area where the burglaries occurred.

Officials and the rescue are asking anyone with information to contact JPD at 601-960-1800 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477). The social media post did not provide further details about property taken or damage.
