An update posted on Facebook at 1:50 p.m. said the accident on Getwell Road has been cleared and all lanes are open. The post added, “Please drive safely.”
An earlier traffic alert posted on the same page said Getwell Road from Central Parkway to Nail Road was shut down in both directions due to an accident. The alert said emergency personnel were on the scene for an undetermined amount of time and asked drivers to use an alternate route.
