35 trustees graduate from BetterMan program at Rankin County Adult Detention Center
Last night the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office said it celebrated the graduation of 35 male trustees from the BetterMan program at the Rankin County Adult Detention Center.
BetterMan is a nine-week study focused on the essentials of Biblical manhood, the sheriff’s office said. The program was taught in partnership with All Things New Ministries and Crossgates Baptist Church.
According to the sheriff’s office, students met weekly for live or video teaching and took part in group discussions intended to help participants build relationships and develop skills. The program aims to provide men of different ages with information and knowledge to be better men, fathers and husbands.
Sheriff Bailey and staff at the detention center said they are proud of the graduates and their accomplishments, the office added. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
