Lowndes County sheriff’s office marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October with a message supporting people affected by breast cancer, including those currently fighting the disease, survivors and those remembered.

The office emphasized early detection, regular screenings, support and education as important parts of breast cancer awareness. It also encouraged people to support those facing the disease and expressed solidarity with survivors and others affected by breast cancer.
