Oxford School District ranked sixth in Mississippi among districts with the lowest chronic absenteeism rates, according to a post from the district.
The district said being at school matters and that each day students are in class provides an opportunity to learn, grow, connect and succeed. It thanked students, families, teachers, staff and administrators for making attendance a priority and praised its Chargers for showing up.
