BMS thanks Booneville police after field day

BMS held a field day last Friday and thanked the Booneville Police Department for supplying students with water, the school said on its Facebook page.

The school described the event as “awesome” in the post, expressing appreciation for the officers who aided students during an outdoor activity day. Field days are typically school-organized events that encourage physical activity and teamwork through games, races and other activities.

School officials credited the police department’s support with helping ensure students stayed hydrated and safe during the event. Police involvement at school events is one way local agencies participate in community outreach and develop positive relationships with young residents.

BMS is a middle school that posted the message on its official Facebook account; the post emphasized gratitude for the department’s work to keep schools and the community safe. Community partnerships like this are often highlighted by schools to recognize local support and promote student welfare.

We will provide more information as it becomes available.
