Baldwyn School District said BMS 5-8th Grade parents and family members attended a meeting focused on building connections within the school community.
The district thanked those working to build the BMS PTO and invited families to join the organization. Businesses and individuals also donated door prizes for the meeting, according to the district.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
