Alumni reunion honors lifetime service in medicine

The 2026 School of Medicine Alumni Reunion brought together alumni, students and faculty to celebrate achievements, reconnect with classmates and honor physicians whose careers have influenced generations of patients and providers, the medical school said in a Facebook post.

Alumni reunions at medical schools typically feature keynote speeches, award presentations, networking events and panels that highlight career paths and advances in patient care. Organizers often use the gatherings to foster mentorship between seasoned physicians and current students and to showcase scholarly and clinical accomplishments.

Honoring a lifetime of service in medicine recognizes long-term contributions to patient care, medical education and research. Such recognition can reinforce institutional traditions, inspire trainees and underscore the lasting impact clinicians have on communities and the profession.

The school’s social media post included a link to more information about the reunion. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
