The Scott County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Forest School District for recognizing and including its deputies in school and community appreciation activities.
According to the sheriff’s office, the district welcomed deputies with orange juice and donuts and invited them to a special night featuring appreciation, food and football.

The sheriff’s office also highlighted friendly competition during the Battle of the Kickoff, which featured Sergeant Investigator Joshua Thames.
The post said the events reflected a partnership among the schools, the community and those who serve it. The message was issued on behalf of Sheriff Mike Lee and the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, with Brad Ellis identified as chief deputy and Joshua Thames as public information officer.
