Pike County Sheriff’s Office attends Pentecost Temple first responders luncheon
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office attended the Pentecost Temple Pre-9/11 Luncheon on Thursday, September 10, 2026, an event recognizing first responders in the community.
The luncheon honored the courage and sacrifice of those who answered the call on September 11, 2001, while also recognizing law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, 911 dispatchers and other first responders who continue to serve their communities.
The Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation to Pentecost Temple and the organizers for hosting the luncheon as a gesture of gratitude. Sheriff Bryant “Wally” Jones and the department said they appreciated the temple’s recognition of those prepared to help when others need assistance.
