The Olive Branch Police Department welcomed Officer Pierceson Dunn to its team and said he will serve the citizens of Olive Branch while representing the department and the city.
The welcome message said Dunn is expected to represent the Olive Branch Police Department and the City of Olive Branch with integrity, professionalism and courage. The message was signed by Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams and welcomed Dunn to the department family.
Jon Ross Myers founded Mississippi News Group in 2013. Before founding the organization, he worked at The Daily Mississippian, The Marion Salute and The Southern Sentinel. A Mississippi journalist and writer based in Ripley, he received second place in poetry in the 2025 William Faulkner Literary Competition for "The Garden."
