Mississippi officials prepare for sold-out Ole Miss-LSU game in Oxford

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said its troopers, CTED officers and law enforcement partners will be deployed in Oxford for a sold-out weekend game between Ole Miss and LSU, with heavy traffic expected.

The department urged people traveling to the game to plan ahead, buckle up and remain patient on the roads. It also warned motorists never to drink and drive.

The agency encouraged fans to enjoy the game while making safety part of their plans.
